Musical Memories Choir is choir with a purpose! Started in 2014 we were born out of a wish to enable people living with dementia and carers, to come together and experience both the many benefits of singing and the friendship of others living through similar experiences.

There are currently three ways you can join Musical Memories Choir each week

1.Join us in person! Come to either Christwell Church, Manselton Road, Manselton SA5 8PW every Wednesday 11am-12.30pm or Linden Church, Elm Grove Road, West Cross, SA3 4EA every Friday at either 11am-12.30 or 1pm-2.30. No need to book, just turn up. Everyone is welcome. You’ll enjoy a cuppa and a cake, great company and some wonderful music. We ask that people living with dementia come with a family member of carer.

2. Every Friday at 11.10am-12 we have our weekly virtual Musical Memories Choir session. Join us for an hour of singing and fun. You can watch live via our facebook page, or any time that suits you on You Tube or catch up here on our website.

3. Use our sing at home resources. We have produced songbooks, CD’s and DVD’s to bring the power of music and singing into daily life at home. If you live in Swansea and would like a free set of resources email helen@redcommunityproject.org.uk or call 01792 403777

Funders

Musical Memories Choir is free to attend thanks to donations and funding from Welsh Government via the Regional Integration Fund, We only ask for a small donation from our singers to cover the cost of refreshments.
